Why are we doing this?

For more than 18 years, I have been taking my daughter out, onto the street, to minister and help the homeless, the elderly and the needy in our community and also in other surrounding cities. Now my daughter is a young woman and her experience and natural empathy has lead her..."us" to continue what we started and take our ministry not only onto the streets, but also into prisons, hospitals, homes for the elderly, hostels, victims of abuse and more...where ever the LORD leads us...where ever we can give hope and light.

Over the years we have helped many different people...with the help of the Lord...and in turn the Lord has helped and blessed us both in countless ways. Not with the  riches of this world, but with an abundance of heavenly riches and a peace that passes all understanding.

Both Amelia and myself have suffered some of the hardships that we encounter with the many people that we minister to and we are both walking testimonies that  'Jesus Christ' can, does and will change lives. He changed mine...He changed my daughter's. He healed me physically and spiritually and He continues to give us hope and peace and guidance every day.

  1. Over the many years of helping people on the streets and in other areas, we have used our own resources, although we have very little ourselves. We have given both money, food, clothing and shelter  to strangers, as well as helping the people we have built up a trust and friendship with. Our 'HOPE SOAP' ministries is just another avenue we have strolled down, that helps us to reach people further afield, in more confined places...such as prisons or hospitals. Giving them not only our free gifts of handmade soap and a bible, but also giving them the chance of the free gift of eternal life with God, through Jesus Christ. What greater gift is there?

  2. For all of these years we have been doing all of the above and more. There are some things that are between ourselves, the persons involved and of course the Lord and are not for public discussion, but I will say this...with the leading of the Lord we have been able to witness to many strangers, as well as aid them. We have given and continue to give our time to anyone whom the Lord puts in our path.
